I wish I would have had this for my 20 years of teaching!
When I moved from classroom teacher, after 17 years, to a different position outside of the classroom, I had several huge storage totes to go through. Filled to the brim were large amounts of curriculum plans, units for every subject matter, and hundreds of college papers I had written. The most precious of it all were the notes from kids and the pictures of each class. I found it hard to part with my planner books too!
I then decided that the best tool would have been a reflection page for each year I taught where I could jot down the best parts of that year and things about each class I would always want to remember. It would be much easier to just have 30 pages of fun notes and memories rather than huge totes of files and decades of planner books.
