A message from the journal creator:
A few years ago I created this approach to seeking God's word just using a huge desk top calendar because I wanted to focus on one topic to see what the Bible had to say about it, as well as seeking God's voice in a specific area.
I failed at all the other things over the course of decades, and this worked for me! I soon looked forward to the few minutes a day it took to pray about and reflect on one part of the verse! Focusing on just one verse each week was just what I needed! I learned much more and felt God speak into my life bringing me new knowledge and wisdom about these verses and how they apply to my life than I ever have any other way.
I pray you experience the same, and that God speaks to you in new ways through the use of this tool!
How to use:
Choose a focus for the month.
Look up verses specifically connected to that topic/focus.
Sunday: Write the verse
Monday-Friday: Each day pray, think, and write about a small part of the verse. By Friday you would want to be near the end of the verse. Journal about what God is saying specifically to you about that verse and what it means in your life.
Saturday: Write about the overall big picture you have now regarding that verse and what it means to your life.
Repeat each week for the month.
