It's also hard to get out of the diet mindset, but as legacy mamas we want to pass on a healthy legacy of taking care of ourselves, and not so much the diet culture. For me, the last thing I want is for my children to think of me as always on a diet. Instead, I want to instill healthy habits even if they don't choose to adopt them right away. My experiences will always be something they can see and hear about how it benefited me as I was aging, because we all know they are aging too!
